8x10 Print of the Pirate Saloon Party
My eyes drip down her face—to her lips, then the glittered length of her neck, then to her collarbones and the pearls scattered across them. My eyes land right where she wants them to, leaving me licking my lips. I take another drink of my whiskey; the buzz is setting in.
“You dressed up,” she says, deadpan. Her voice has returned to a flat tone. Still, I know I’m not in the clear.
“I knew you would.”
Her jaw flexes. She’s always been a sucker for costume parties, always gone above and beyond to seduce me with her scandalous renditions of whatever theme she’s going for. It surprises me that she and Beatrix never met before tonight, that those two circles of my life never overlapped. Beatrix is the same kind of extra; the two would get along great.
“Now we look like we came together,” I tell her, looping my arm around the back of her neck and drawing her closer to me.
This 8x10 print is on matte card stock and depicts a scene from "The Storm & the Sea" Chapter 14.
